I&#8217;ve been working with this section of the book a lot with my students, for <a href=\"http:\/\/shipdrummer.blogspot.com\/2011\/03\/todds-methods-pt-3-rock-beats-with.html\">rock<\/a> (<a href=\"https:\/\/pdxdrummer.com\/index.php\/2011\/03\/18\/two-simple-rock-applications\/\">and another<\/a>), <a href=\"https:\/\/pdxdrummer.com\/index.php\/2011\/03\/09\/basic-big-band-set-ups\/\">jazz<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/shipdrummer.blogspot.com\/2011\/07\/todds-methods-bongo-beat.html\">Latin<\/a>, and have developed a few methods <a href=\"http:\/\/shipdrummer.blogspot.com\/2011\/02\/todds-methods-pt-1-daku-daku-paradiddle.html\">for my own practice<\/a> for it.<\/p>\n<p>These variations require just a little selective reading, and are very good for making this underused section of the book a little more interesting.
